Letter Basket Workshop

Learn the fundamentals of traditional basket making while creating a hanging letter basket at Strawbery Banke. Designed to hold mail, papers, or notes, the completed basket combines practical storage with handcrafted character.

Museum instructors will introduce traditional basketry tools and materials before guiding participants through foundational weaving techniques. At the end of the workshop, take home a completed basket and the skills to continue exploring the craft.

Workshop Details: Beginner level. Suitable for ages 16 and older. Limited to 10 participants. All materials are provided. Members $65; Nonmembers $75.
