Skating admission and pond hockey may be purchased online. Passbooks, skate rentals, and skate sharpening are available for purchase in person only.
Skating Admission
Public skating is offered in 1.5–2 hour sessions listed on the weekly schedule.
* Discounted ticket quantities vary by membership level.
** Active-duty military receive 50% off admission for themselves and up to five immediate family members, for a maximum of six tickets.
Passbooks
Each skating ticket book includes 10 public skating admission vouchers.
Vouchers must be redeemed in person at the admissions desk for a specific public skating session. Weekly ticket sales open Sundays at 5 PM. Vouchers do not guarantee admission.
Skate Rentals
Ice skate rentals are available in sizes toddler 6 through adult 14.
Pond Hockey
Pond hockey is offered during designated sessions on the weekly schedule. Sessions are limited to 20 players in a 5-on-5 format.
Skate Sharpening

All skaters must check in at the admissions desk in the Lawrence J. Yerdon Visitors Center at 14 Hancock Street before entering the rink.

Ticket changes may be requested within 24 hours of purchase and are subject to availability.

Skating tickets are nonrefundable but may be transferred to another person. No formal notification to the Museum is required.
If Strawbery Banke cancels a session, affected tickets will be refunded automatically.

E-tickets are linked in the confirmation email sent after purchase. Tickets may be shown on a phone or presented as a printed copy.

If Strawbery Banke cancels a session because of weather or ice conditions, ticket holders will be notified by email and tickets for the affected session will be refunded.

On-site parking is limited. Additional parking is available nearby in downtown Portsmouth. Allow extra time to park and walk to the rink during busy skating sessions.
