Hanging Basket Workshop

Welcome spring while creating a handwoven hanging basket at Strawbery Banke. Designed to hang from a wall or doorknob, this functional basket offers an attractive way to organize small household items.

Museum instructors will introduce traditional basketry tools and materials before guiding participants through foundational weaving techniques. At the end of the workshop, take home a completed basket and the skills to continue exploring the craft.

Workshop Details: Beginner level. Suitable for ages 16 and older. Limited to 10 participants. All materials are provided. Members $65; Nonmembers $75.
