Learn the basics of basket making in this beginner workshop at Strawbery Banke. Guided by Museum instructors, you’ll create your own hanging Letter Basket, a functional and attractive piece for organizing mail, papers, or notes.

You’ll be introduced to traditional basketry tools and materials and practice foundational weaving techniques with step-by-step instruction in a supportive, hands-on environment. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a completed basket and the skills to continue weaving on your own.

This class is limited to 10 participants, must be ages 16 and older. All materials are included. Members $65; Non-Members $75.
