WHAT IS STRAWBERY BANKE?
Strawbery Banke is a nearly 10-acre living history museum made up of historic houses on their original sites, gardens, landscapes, and exhibitions throughout Portsmouth’s Puddle Dock neighborhood.
Visitors move from house to house and century to century, discovering the stories of the Indigenous peoples connected to this place, past and present, and the many families, workers, immigrants, craftspeople, and community members who lived and worked here over more than 350 years.
