Self-Guided Tours (May 1 - Oct 31):
Upon arriving at the Museum, our friendly staff will give your group an orientation and site overview. Guests will then be free to stroll about our grounds on a self-guided tour. It is recommended to allot 1½ to 2 hours to tour the museum.
Strawbery Banke Museum can accommodate coach parking in the museum lot, located at 14 Hancock Street. Group tours requiring coach parking should note this when booking a reservation. Complimentary admission is provided for the driver and group leader.
2022 update: The Museum cafe, located in the TYCO Visitors Center, is CLOSED for the season. Please visit The Puddle Dock Restaurant located in the Dunaway Store at Strawbery Banke Museum on 66 Marcy Street, Portsmouth.
Self-Guided Tour Group Rates:
Parties of 10 or more individuals qualify to receive discounted admission tickets. Group rates for museum admission are $12 per adult and $8 per child (ages 5 – 17).
Candlelight Stroll Group Rates:
Parties of 10 or more individuals qualify to receive discounted Candlelight Stroll event tickets. Group rates for Candlelight Stroll tickets are $18 per adult and $10 per child (ages 5 – 17).

Ghosts on the Banke - A Family-Friendly Halloween Event
October 28 & 29, 2022, 5:30-8 PM
Trick-or-treat safely outdoors from house to historic house. Meet wayward pirates and a mysterious fortune-teller, listen to ghostly tales, construct a giant spider web, dance to spooky musical tunes, and play games for prizes. Public ticket sales begin on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 10 AM.

Dawnland StoryFest is hosted by Strawbery Banke in connection with the Museum's permanent "People of the Dawnland" exhibit. This daylong event, held in the Visitors Center, features storytelling "concerts" or performances by five experienced Indigenous storytellers as well as a keynote address. Free to attend with a suggested donation of $10.
