Ice Dance International Winter Residency

Founded in 2014 by Douglas Webster, Ice Dance International & Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond Artistic Director,  Ice Dance International (IDI) is a non-profit organization that exists to showcase and promote ice dancing as an internationally recognized performing art form.

Ice Dance International (IDI) resides annually at Strawbery Banke and provides the community with pop-up performances and community programming at Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond and across New England. IDI’s engagement programs include classes, performances, and one-on-one skating opportunities for those with disabilities.

  • Community Skating Classes

Taught by Douglas Webster, Artistic Director of IDI and Labrie Family Skate, with support from the IDI company, these drop-in adult skating classes are open to all. Additionally, IDI provides up to three free pop-up youth classes throughout the season. Click the button below to view the weekly rink schedule and look for “Community Skating Classes.”

  • “Get Out and Skate” Program

IDI provides accessible ways for people from diverse backgrounds to view and appreciate the art of dance on ice and engage in a healthy recreational activity in fun and innovative ways. IDI’s partnerships include Little Harbour School and Future In Sight.

  • Pop-Up Performances
