Strawbery Banke American Girls Book Club
Get to know historical fiction characters from the American Girl Doll series with the Strawbery Banke American Girls Club. Designed for ages 6+, each session focuses on a different book character whose time period is tied to one of the historic homes at Strawbery Banke Museum.
Club meetings occur via Zoom every other Tuesday from 4 PM – 5 PM. Participants receive access to a webpage filled with other activities to try at home to be shared with the group during class. Read, imagine, be creative and stay connected to other history-loving kids this winter.
Cost per session: Members $20; Nonmembers $25.

2021 Historic House Season

Strawbery Banke Museum reopens for the season offering visitors the chance to explore over 300+ years of history, from Indigenous history to the present day, in the Puddle Dock neighborhood. Tour historic houses on original foundations, meet costumed roleplayers, watch traditional crafts demonstrations and explore heirloom gardens.

Amid the summer splendor of Puddle Dock, this popular concert series is held every Tuesday night. Guests bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the open-air concerts featuring music by local artists.
The Puddle Dock Restaurant
The Puddle Dock Restaurant, located in the Dunaway Store at Strawbery Banke Museum, offers great "Modern Colonial" food, hospitality, and beautiful views to families of Portsmouth and visitors to the Museum.
