Many thanks for helping to Keep Portsmouth Skating
Over the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend, Rink Services Group (RSG) issued a challenge fundraiser, seeking to match all donations to the rink, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. Thanks to the generosity and support of the community, Strawbery Banke exceeded the goal and raised $13,773, including matching funds from RSG, for Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond.

Gifts to Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond help bridge the gap in operational costs. Even in years without capacity restrictions and additional pandemic protocols, revenues from ticket sales and skate rentals do not fully cover the cost of operations.

A $5,000 match challenge to benefit Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond
Friday, January 15 - Monday, January 18, 2021.

For the past six years, small businesses and organizations around the Seacoast have generously supported the rink. This year, given the impact of the pandemic on local businesses, that support is limited. As a result, Strawbery Banke anticipates the rink’s operating budget will experience a significant shortfall

For the fourth year in a row, Rink Services Group, the company that manages Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond, issued a $5,000 challenge, seeking to match that amount in donations over MLK Day weekend.
