Keep Skating Accessible
$5,000 Weekend Match Challenge Fundraiser

Friday, Jan. 14 - Monday, Jan. 17, 2022

A $5,000 match challenge to benefit Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond, Strawbery Banke Museum's seasonal outdoor skating rink.

For the fifth year in a row, Rink Services Group, the company that manages Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond, issued a $5,000 challenge, seeking to match that amount in donations over MLK Day weekend. Funds raised are earmarked for increasing the size of the accessible patio and making it a permanent structure

The outdoor rinkside patio, currently a temporary structure that is reinstalled every season, serves as a place to gather outdoors when visitors take a break from skating or watch a child participate in Learn-to-Skate lessons. Additionally, the patio is accessible, helping to enable skaters of all ages and abilities to experience outdoor ice skating at Strawbery Banke.

All gifts made between Friday, Jan. 14- Monday, Jan.17, 2022, are matched dollar for dollar (up to $5,000 total) by Rink Services Group.
