“Tuesdays on the Terrace” Music Series Returns to Strawbery Banke

The popular open-air series of acoustic music concerts returns to the terrace at the Strawbery Banke Tyco Visitors Center on Tuesday, July 11. “Tuesdays on the Terrace,” presented thanks to a grant from Kennebunk Savings Bank, then continues each Tuesday in July and August, from 5 to 7 pm. Admission is $5 (museum members, free) and food, wine and beer are available for purchase from Figtree Kitchen Café at Strawbery Banke.  The schedule includes many favorite “Tuesdays on the Terrace” artists:

July 11, Tom Richter & The Sidewalk Boys -- original folk, blues and Americana with “Sidewalk” Tom Richter, Brian “Chunkman” Goetz and “Steinway” Dave Lemieux.

July 18, Liz and Dan Faiella – traditional New England and Celtic folk music on violin and guitar

July 25, Cuppa Joe -- jazz & blues quartet performing classic selections from Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, James Brown, and Johnny Cash.

Aug 1, Gary Sredzienski -- versatile accordion player whose repertoire encompasses music from a wide range of world traditions and American music of the 1920s to 1950

Aug 8, Kevin Reams – known for his Celtic fingerstyle guitar work, he is also a fine singer, bohdran and bouzouki player and has recently taken up the Native American flute.

Aug 15, Fox & Fern -- Seacoast singer/songwriters Laura Fox & Eric Fernald folk/soul originals, peppered with tunes from the 50’s and 60’s

Aug 22, Jeff Warner, traditional and historical New England folk music

Aug 29, Gary Fagin, familiar and traditional favorites from the great American song book

The concerts are open to the public. No reservations required and visitors are welcome to tour the grounds and gardens of the Museum and to visit the new Pickwick’s At the Banke shop (corner of Atkinson and Court Street) on the Museum
