Times change, but teenagers have always played a part in history. Teens of today can make the past come to life again by performing in historic character as a Junior Roleplayers. Use theatrical techniques, full costume, old-fashioned tools and materials, and historical research methods to learn how to portray a person from another time, with historic houses and grounds as the stage.

Beginner Jr. Roleplayers: One Hundred Years of Change, 1770 - 1870
July 16 - July 27, 2012, 9:00 - 3:00 (Monday - Friday)
First year Jr. Roleplayers take on the roles of adolescents growing up from the outset of the American Revolution and the development of a new American nation through the 19th-century --- a time of mills, machines, new inventions, global voyages and amazing discoveries of the natural world.

Intermediate Jr. Roleplayers: Changes and Challenges, 1770-1870
August 6 - 17, 2012, 9:00-3:00 (Monday-Friday)
Experienced Junior Roleplayers are invited to expand their knowledge of American history and sharpen their roleplaying skills as they discover a new historical era and orleplaying character. Participants must have previously participated in a Beginner Jr. Roleplayer Program at Strawbery Banke Museum.


REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is required for all programs.
Registration will begin on Tuesday, February 1, 2012. No registrations will be accepted before February 1.
