Learn by doing at Strawbery Banke Museum
Throughout the museum there are many opportunities to experience hands-on history - come explore them all.
The Cotton Tenant House North - contains a weaving exhibition and demonstration looms that visitors can try as well as a basket-making demonstration.
Cotton Tenant House South -- contains the Center for Heirloom Garden Crafts with programs designed to preserve and interpret the history of botanical crafts through Strawbery Banke’s gardens and garden-related collections.
The Discovery Center - a highly interactive exhibit where kids of all ages can experience traditional games, crafts, chores, and pastimes.
The Boatshop at Strawbery Banke (coming soon) is a pilot partnership between Piper Boatworks and Strawbery Banke Museum to provide maritime-related demonstrations, exhibits and programs on current maritime-related topics and skills.
