Strawbery Banke offers special  hearth cooking experiences in Wheelwright House.  The two-hour hands-on workshops allow participants to learn open-hearth cooking skills as they make and enjoy a traditional menu.

Hearth Cooking Workshop in Wheelwright House

At this "Winter Bounty" workshop, participants will prepare a meal of beef, parsnip pancakes, a root vegetable, mushroom tart, pickled vegetables and Queen’s Pudding. Advance registration required. Click here for details and online ticketing.

Hearth cooking classes are not able to guarantee that food abides by dietary restrictions such as allergies not nuts, tree nuts, dairy or gluten. Menus will be posted ahead of time to notify participants the types of foods present.

 

Cancellation Policy:

If a workshop is cancelled due to weather or any other reason, registrants will be notified via email
