Strawbery Banke offers special hearth cooking experiences in Stoodley’s Tavern, the c. 1761 building at 17 Hancock Street that now serves as the museum’s Education Center. The two-hour workshops (11 am to 1 pm) allow participants to learn open-hearth cooking skills in the Tavern Hearth Room as they make and enjoy a traditional menu.

Hearth cooking classes are not able to guarantee that food abides by dietary restrictions such as allergies not nuts, tree nuts, dairy or gluten. Menus will be posted ahead of time to notify participants the types of foods present.
