Friday and Saturday, October 26th & 27th, 2012 Come and meet the Ghosts on the Banke at Strawbery Banke’s famous Halloween celebration. Long-dead sea captains, 17th century shopkeepers and wayward pirates haunt the streets of Portsmouth’s oldest neighborhood as you trick or treat safely from house to historic house.

The new gundalow, PISCATAQUA, built in the summer of 2011 under the boat shed on our grounds was named and launched to great fanfare. For video of the great move to the launch site and the launch itself, click here. Starting in Summer 2012, visitors will be able to travel the river on-board.
