Strawbery Banke Presents 4th Annual Children’s Book Festival at
Fall Festival October 6th

Strawbery Banke Museum’s annual Fall Festival is a family event that showcases traditional handmade New England crafts, heirloom animals and fall garden activities. This year, Strawbery Banke includes the 4th Annual Children’s Book Festival the same day, Saturday, October 6 from 11 am to 3 pm in the museum’s TYCO Visitors Center (14 Hancock Street, Portsmouth).

The Children’s Book Festival welcomes 23 local children’s book authors and illustrators to sign their books, available for purchase at the event.  . The Children’s Book Festival is a great opportunity to holiday shop for autographed books for youngsters from the very youngest children through young adult readers.

Admission to the event is free. Each child 12 or under receives a ticket for free skating at the Museum’s Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond.

To underscore the family-friendly nature of the event, admission to Fall Festival is free to children under 17. (Museum members and active duty military and their families also admitted free.)

Figtree Kitchen Café offers a family-friendly menu for the day.  The event is made possible in part by Berwick Academy. For more information, visit StrawberyBanke.org
